HR Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated HR Advisor to join our HSS Operations division here at HSS Hire. Sitting within the wider People team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting line managers and colleagues with people advice and day-to-day employee relations queries.

This is a hybrid working role, working from home 2 days per week and the remaining 3 days will be spent visiting depots and distribution centres across England and Wales to support with complex cases and projects and initiatives that support our wider people strategy.

What you'll do:

• You will support front-line employee relations queries in-line with employment legislation across the HSS Operations division
• Work closely with the wider HR team to provide administrative support to key stakeholders such as letter writing and minute taking
• You will work closely with the HR Business Partner on key initiatives and projects to develop progress across the people strategy
  
• You will demonstrate an understanding of business operation and culture, supporting workstreams such as colleague wellbeing, diversity, engagement and retention
• You'll work closely with HR functions such as Recruitment, Payroll and Learning and Development to deliver an all-round excellent service to your dedicated business division

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in a similar role with experience of employee relations / case work background
• You will have CIPD Level 3
  
• The ability to travel around England and Wales as required
• Experience in operating in a fast paced, multi faceted organisation
  
• Confident in advising and partnering with a diverse mix of stakeholders
  
• A strong communicator, confident influencer and an innovator, able to thrive whilst supporting a progressive people strategy
